The Process
If your property is on lock box, you will need to let our photographer in. They will turn off the lights and lock up after the shoot.
Most projects require 1 hour per 1,000 sf of 3D mapping on site. 2,000sf = approx. 2 hrs.

Please turn on AC, especially in the summer, or heat in the winter. Scanning works best if electricity is on to provide proper lighting to the Space.
From 3D mapping to final tour, it takes between 24 to 48 hours to generate, edit and produce a high-quality Space.
Please review our sample Spaces so you can be familiar with what to expect.

ACTS OF NATURE: If it is impossible to fulfill our commitment, due to weather or events out of our control, we will reschedule the shoot for the next available time. Please read our suggested tips for staging property so your property will have the ‘wow” factor prior to our arrival. If there are any special requests, please let us know prior to our arrival if possible and we will try our best to accommodate you.
IMPORTANT: There are some limitations as to what we can tweak on the tour. 3D Scans cannot be edited once we leave the property. If there are any items you wish NOT to be included in the final Space, it’s your responsibility to remove or relocate them, prior to our arrival. We spend approx 30 minutes, before we shoot, to "clean up" small personal items at the property. If you require the room(s) to be re-scanned, the entire house might be scanned and billed as a new project, due to the nature of 3D scanning.
There are some areas we might not be able to scan. Some examples are: small utility rooms, inside small closets/pantries, behind tight-fitting furniture to walls and some rooms with narrow doorways. In these conditions, we make every attempt to scan the closest location to allow a view.

3D scans work best on property interiors. We also love to shoot exterior (outside) and detached areas. Lighting is the biggest factor and shooting exteriors will be decided at the shoot. If an exterior shot is a MUST, we will schedule a shoot for an appropriate cloudy and/or overcast day. Custom shoot times can be arranged for early morning sunrise / late evenings before sunset for some great visual effects. Let us know!

STAGING TIPS
Great scans start with beautifully staged spaces. Be sure to prep the space for the photographer.
-
Remove any stray coffee cups, fluff pillows, clean up soap and towels in the bathroom and prep decor so that everything can remain stationary throughout the scan.
-
Make sure everything is where you want it. Our camera likes objects to stay put, and moving them between scans can cause "artifacts" during processing. Once we begin the scanning process all items need to remain in place throughout the interior Space. No movement, people or pets, on site, is ideal. Doors must remain open, or closed, during the entire 3D mapping.
-
Turn all lights on and open shades and blinds. We'll adjust lighting to get the best exposure before we shoot.
